How long have you been hunting?
My first sojourn into formalized paranormal investigation would
have been back in college (1988), when I debunked an apparition
that appeared in Malta cemetery. After the debunking, it became a
great place to take dates. If you didn't tell them what the image
really was, and didn't mind them holding on to you a little more
tightly.
What got you interested in the field?
A personal encounter with a shadow person when I was 17.
Haven't been able to debunk that one yet.
What is your favorite piece of equipment or investigative
technique?
Jason and Shoobie are my favorite pieces of "equipment". As most
of the gear we use is widely available, the research aspects of
working with sensitives not only aids in the investigative avenues
of paranormal research, but it's also intriguing to see folks display
such rare talent. The experiences I've had working with Jason and
Shoobie far exceed anything that my equipment may have
captured.
If you could hunt anywhere, where you your dream hunts be?
Japan. The Japanese culture seems to represent hauntings in a
much different way than we do here in the West. Japanese ghosts
seem much more violent and electronic. It would be interesting to
see if this is simply an aspect of cultural perception, or a reality of
the intensity of Japanese hauntings.
Anything else people should know?
I'm a geek. A really private geek. I read a lot. Write even more.
I'm also happy to spend my time at home in front of a good
movie. And, although I'm not gay, my favorite color is pink.
